Stall Privacy Notice
Effective Date: 3 October 2026 Last Updated: 2 October 2026
This notice covers Stall, DiscoverWorthy's app for selling at markets and expos, on iPhone and Android. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and adds to it — everything in that policy still applies. Where this notice is more specific about Stall, this notice governs.
1. What Stall collects, and why
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address | When you sign in or sign up | To send you a sign-in code and to know it's you. There is no password. |
| Your business name | When you set up your business | To show it in the app and on your reports. |
| Your products: names, prices, what they cost you, how many you have | When you add or edit them | So you can pack, sell and see what you made. |
| Product photos (optional) | Only if you add one | To show on your products. |
| Your markets: name, place, dates, stall fee and costs | When you add a market | To plan what to take and work out your profit. |
| What you packed, sold and brought home | As you use the app | To keep count during the day and build your reports. |
| Your sales: items, amounts, and whether it was cash or card | Each time you sell | For your takings, your reports and your Finance records in DiscoverWorthy. |
| How much cash you counted at close (optional) | When you close the day | To check your takings against the tin. |
| The app's version and basic error details | When something goes wrong | To find and fix problems. |
What Stall does not collect. Stall does not ask for your customers' names, phone numbers or email addresses. When a customer pays by card on your own card machine, Stall records only the amount and that it was a card — never the card number or any card details. We don't use your contacts, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Location (Android). The Android app asks for location permission because the card reader technology our payment partner Stripe uses for Tap to Pay needs it. Stall does not store your location or send it to us. If you never use Tap to Pay, you can decline the permission and everything else still works.
The demo. "Try the demo" runs entirely on your phone with a made-up business. Nothing you do in the demo is sent to us.
2. Who can see it
Your Stall data belongs to your business. People you add to your DiscoverWorthy business can see it, and DiscoverWorthy staff can see it only to support you or keep the service running.
We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone else except the service providers that run DiscoverWorthy for us (for example Microsoft Azure, where it is stored; our email provider, which sends your sign-in codes; and Stripe, if you take Tap to Pay payments), each under their own privacy and security obligations.
3. Where it's kept
Stall data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers in Australia and sent to and from the app over encrypted connections. The app keeps a copy on your phone so you can keep selling without signal; it's sent to DiscoverWorthy when you're back online.
4. How long we keep it
As long as you have your account. Sales, markets and reports are kept so your history and your Finance records stay complete. When you delete your account, they go with it (see below).
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside Stall: Settings → Delete my account, and type your email to confirm. That deletes every business you made in Stall and own on your own, with its products, markets, sales and reports, and removes your personal details. If your business has other people in it, or was set up in DiscoverWorthy rather than in Stall, the app tells you and you can delete it from DiscoverWorthy instead, or ask us to.
You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
